Inn at Laurel Point (solo trip)

We loved this place. The room was slightly dated but very clean and comfortable, with a nice view of the harbour. The location is excellent, not right in the busy city centre but an easy walk to get there. Both the food and the service at the restaurant were fantastic. We will stay here again without hesitation.

Do not overlook this gem. Being on the Harbour gives you an ideal spot for a beautiful sunset and plenty of walking paths. The grounds of this hotel are beautiful and tranquil. The food is excellent and well as the service. Staff are so friendly with greetings and help if you need it. It's like being at a home away from home.

The rooms with terraces overlooking the Inner Harbour in the newer wing are absolutely spectacular—worth every penny. Waking up to those views feels like a luxury in itself. We ordered breakfast during our stay, and it was excellent: a generous serving of fresh fruit, perfectly prepared eggs Benedict, and, of course, that stunning harbour view to top it all off. The location of the property is excellent. So close to walking paths, parks, ferry/water taxis, and the grounds of the legislature. Countless things to see ! The hotel itself is very quiet, spacious hallways let alone the size of the rooms. Patio decks are large considering most places barely accommodate 2 chairs. We spent a lot of mornings having coffee on the deck watching the ferry come in and ...

One of our best stays. Loved everything about this place. Location is awesome in the middle of everything. Views abound. Loved watching all the activity in the Harbour. From sea planes to small and large boats and yachts. Very quite. Except maybe for the occasional seagull or seaplane but not an issue after dark. Nice decks. Great restaurant in the hotel. Also a coffee and pastry place was good....
