A small and calm Park to walk and relax. It has a playground for children, so it can be a good option for those having children.

Veteran's Memorial Park. Very tastefully landscaped. Simple, central memorial featuring a statue and two pillars in the style of Canada's Vimy memorial. There's a children's play park next to the memorial area.

Just moved to the island so I'm not too sure what else is around here. A very nice tribute and a relatively quiet place to reflect. There is also a small kids park here, seasonal Farmers market and music. The centerpiece is a small duplicate of the Vimy Ridge memorial in France with an actual stone from that locale.
Join the Goldstream Farmers Market on Saturdays 10 AM–2 PM for local coffee and snacks. Attend the Vimy Ridge Candlelight Tribute each April 9th for an evening remembrance ceremony.
