Beautiful Catholic Cathedral. Open for public. Every day mass for devotees . Around noon. Very nice place to spend time with your prayers. Very beautiful old style Gothic church. Free entrance. Street parking and easily accessible if you're in downtown.

Perfect place to receive the body, soul, and divinity. Even as guests, we were asked to carry the offertory gifts. Inspiring singing, excellent sermon, warm congregation. Amen!

We stopped by St. Andrew’s Cathedral while in Victoria, and it was a highlight of our trip. The Gothic architecture is stunning, and the stained glass windows fill the church with color and light. It’s a peaceful, welcoming space with thoughtful details—including Indigenous artwork near the altar. A lovely place to pause, pray, or just admire the beauty.

My previous review from 2019 said never open. Now after walking by here for the past 60 years when visiting I finally got the chance to see the beautiful sanctuary. It's an excellent example of late 1800s Gothic architecture. Stunning brick work and stained glass windows. A beautiful sunny day and the colours inside were beautiful. An understated cathedral but so well worth the visit. Thank you.
In summer, late afternoon sun brings the stained glass to life. In winter, the heated interior offers a warm retreat from the cold.
