Take a stroll along the most wonderful Oceanfront victoria has to offer free. The break water is reinforced to stop large waves coming into shore. There's a restaurant at the end of the breakwater. You can park for free on dallas road and walk to the end. Watch cruiseships come and rotate and other marine vessels.

The breakwater is an iconic Victoria landmark with the lighthouse at the end very end. Railings were installed many years ago ( I think 2013 approx ) so it’s safe for families , kids and pets to walk out on it. Locals and tourists alike come to walk it .. from it you can see the cruise ships and naval destroyers docked at Ogden point. It’s also an iconic location to take pictures. One is able ...

The Breakwater Lighthouse is such a great place for a walk. You can stroll right out along the pier with the ocean on both sides, and sometimes you’ll see big ships and ferries passing close by. I went at sunset and the sky was gorgeous. though there were quite a few people around enjoying the view too.

Our cruise ship came in at 9:15 pm and it was the perfect walk to enjoy. The view was gorgeous- mountains, light house, city scape, and a sunset to end a beautiful day. The walk was easy, level, pavement, and side rails. There are steps that people went down on the rocks. There are benches down by the lighthouse. You can turn around at any time. There is a restaurant at the end by the parking lot....
