Great day out. Gondola ride gives fantastic view of Vancouver. Great show by the lumberjacks and the two rescued bears are lovely. We were there at feeding time so it was extra special. The ski chair lift to the top was great. Fabulous views all around Vancouver. Well worth the entrance fee. I didn’t book in advance but there was no problem with buying tickets there. Well worth a visit

Beautiful place to be, it was nice to enjoy the serenity as a tourist with the Free Local Day pass rather than sweaty hiker. New blue gondola is fast! Also be sure to check out the free Peak Chairlift that takes you to top of Grouse Mountain!

I'm so glad to experience this. I've been to Grouse mountain a few times and we were here (we live in California and visit my wife's sisters here in BC) during the winter. I have NEVER been to the peak and this was an amazing view and had fun with my kids checking it out.

This was a challenge since I don’t hike daily but definitely doable. I wished I had brought my hiking poles but still doable. I would definitely do this again.

It has a nice scenery over here!!! If you can hike well, this part will definitely be easy for you to climb!!! You can see the whole view of the city of Vancouver, if the date which you hiked this mountain’s weather is clear!!!
In summer, hike early to beat crowds and catch the 11 am Lumberjack Show. In winter, join Wednesday Social Snowshoe nights (register online) and wear crampons on icy sections.
