Aug 27 11:30am. Calling the University of Toronto help desk as an alumni was a reminder of how deeply broken this institution is. The staff member was rude, dismissive, and barely communicative — reflecting the same cold, bureaucratic atmosphere I experienced as a student. U of T may pride itself on prestige, but the reality is a system full of cruel, burned-out people with superiority complexes w...

At least for me, this place is a giant Monster Spawner. Beneath the rankings and reputation is a disjointed and invalidating system. Administrative support is slow and inconsistent. Students are often left to figure things out alone while important issues get buried in bureaucracy. The student population is massive. While that might sound exciting, in reality it creates a fragmented, emotionally...

During summer months, this is an absolutely beautiful place to walk through, have a rest, etc. The university has done a really fantastic job of beautifying the area with more greenery, flowers, seating spaces, etc. You can even have a wonderful lunch at Hart House and sit outside on the quiet patio; It's actually a great spot. The property is open to the public. Even though the buildings are ru...

I recently had the pleasure of attending the University of Toronto downtown campus and I must say, it was an absolutely incredible experience. The university is top-notch, with a wide variety of academic programs and research opportunities available to students. The faculty at the University of Toronto downtown campus are also excellent. They are knowledgeable and dedicated, taking the time to en...

Didn't take a program at UoT but I'm giving this campus five stars for the architecture and atmosphere. Feels like you step into a historical movie set! Usually quiet - an amazing place to just get away from a busy day. They play the bells sometimes in the clock tower which adds to the beauty of this place. Spend an hour or two here and you'll feel refreshed and inspired.

In spring (late April–May), cherry blossoms line Philosopher’s Walk. Summer afternoons bring outdoor student events on the quads. In winter, wear waterproof boots and follow cleared paths near main buildings.
