  • Wildlife Viewing: Rouge Marsh and Vista attract deer and songbirds at dawn.
  • Free Resources: Visitor centre has complementary maps and program flyers.

Challenges:

  • Mosquito Season: Bring strong repellent from late spring through early fall.
  • Parking Availability: Lots fill by mid-morning; arrive before 10 am or use transit.
  • Limited Cell Service: Download offline maps; signal is weak in deep valleys.

Summer, autumn, winter, spring, it's never too crowded because it's so large. If you find where you are with too many people, it's...

Lots of beautiful trails, Vista & Mast are the popular trails. Fall season is the best time to visit. Do not expect many benches or seating in the trails. Bring your own water bottles as I did not see any drinking water provisions.
