How Baby-Friendly is Little Canada?

Babies enter free and strollers fit the flat aisles, yet no on-site nursing room or guaranteed change table means parents may trek to Eaton Centre facilities, so practicality is fair, not great.

Positives:

  • Stroller-friendly layout: Wide, flat aisles and elevator access make it easy to navigate with a stroller.
  • Free baby admission: Babies under 4 enter at no cost, so you only pay for two adult tickets.
  • Interactive lights and sounds: Gentle motion and light effects entertain babies without need for a play area.

Challenges:

  • No private nursing room: There’s no dedicated nursing space inside; use Eaton Centre’s family rooms nearby.
  • Dim exhibit lighting: Some scenes are dark; bring a light blanket or cover to keep your baby comfortable.
  • Limited baby seating: Benches are sparse; plan a break at Little Bites Café or mall seating area.

  • A diorama that incorporates dynamic elements such as moving trains, LED-driven day-night cycles and realistic ambient soundscapes
  • A dedicated attraction within the CF Toronto Eaton Centre presenting Canada’s geography and cultural icons through handcrafted scale models

What is so special about Little Canada for with baby?

  1. Indoor miniature scenes entertain babies without outdoor exposure
  2. Stroller-friendly aisles and free baby admission simplify visits
  3. Interactive lights, sound and moving trains captivate little ones
  4. Nearby mall facilities cover nursing and diaper-change needs

Recommended visit duration: 1–2 hours

Why 1–2 hours visit duration is ideal for with baby: Enough time to explore key miniature scenes and take breaks for the baby without rushing.

This was a backup optional activity for our trip, and turned out surprisingly fun and engaging. We spent a few hours here, even though none of us are into miniature anything nor railway models. It's amazingly detailed, with many fun little Easter eggs to find in every exhibit. The model trains, cars, and boats all drive around, and there are day/night cycles making the whole experience very varied...

This place was very cool to experience, I kinda knew what to expect because I saw some pictures online but in person was way better. It was so cool to see Canada mini size and all of Canada. Me and my son were in town on vacation from NYC and it was great. I wish we had something like that. My favorite part is Nova Scotia and Toronto (duh)! 😄 The Niagara Falls part was very cool, seeing the boat ...

Visited this gem today. Wow this was amazing to see. I did the tour from 5:30-7:15 and it was fantastic. Michael our guide was knowledgeable and friendly. The tour described everything. You don’t need to do the tour you can walk around yourself. I recommend 3 hours here as you’ll want to see it all and really look closely at the exhibits. The models were so well done and so many automations. Ther...

This place is amazing. I though`t that it will be small exhibition, but amount of region`s, and places shown is astonishing. There is day and night cycle, everything is made which such detail`s that`s mind blowing. Even interiors of houses, building, and sky scrapers, are made! If You are in Toronto or close, go and visit this place because is worth it! Also, All the Best for Creator and Owner, wh...

We had the chance to visit Little Canada and were pleasantly surprised by how much we enjoyed it! The staff were incredibly kind and attentive — they even let us in a little earlier than our scheduled time, which we really appreciated. The space is clean and well-organized, with clear instructions throughout. The exhibits are truly impressive, offering something for everyone. While it's definitel...
