What makes it 77% Baby-Friendly: Parents with a baby get stroller-friendly paths, change tables and a free shuttle, yet uneven garden surfaces and no dedicated nursing room mean extra planning is needed.
Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for with baby: This allows time for a stroller-friendly trail stroll, a market browse, and a café break without rushing the baby.
Stroller-Friendly Trails:
Wide, paved boardwalks link the quarry, gardens and Don Valley trails.
Tip: Use a robust stroller on packed-gravel sections and bring sun or rain cover.
Saturday Farmers’ Market:
Browse local produce, bakery treats and crafts every Saturday 9 am–1 pm.
Tip: Arrive by 9 am to avoid crowds and use a baby carrier for easier vendor access.
Picnic Café:
Casual spot with high chairs and baby-safe snack options.
Tip: Request a table near an outlet and close to the nearest washroom with a change table.
Evergreen Shuttle Bus:
Free shuttle from Broadview Station with stroller-accessible boarding.
Tip: Check shuttle times online and fold bulky items to share space with other passengers.

It’s a lovely corner in downtown Toronto with local shops, food tents, lovely hiking trail, bike trail, little pond with ducks and geese, and overall a lot of greenery. It is pretty beginner friendly has patches for advanced hikers too. The local shops here have some really cool, albeit a little expensive items for home. We got some fridge magnets, honey, ground coffee and also some hot chocolate...

Came here to celebrate and anniversary, and adored this place. Brickworks has so much going on; the staff, shops and food are lovely. There were a lot of plants, flowers, bulbs, and seeds for sale which I'm looking forward to getting more of soon! Missed the weekend market but hope to catch another one. Beautiful scenic walking trails. It felt clean and safe here, we'd love to come back. Used the ...

Enjoyed my visit. Plenty of walking trails Took a detour off the main trails. There were some challenging climbs and descents. Was supposed to do the free Nature tour but the tour guide did not show up. Did the historical tour instead which was nice. The volunteer tour guide was quite knowledgeable. Would visit again. Take note that parking is $10. Easier to download the app and pay there.

Gorgeous park, I love the free tours of the kilns and the nature reserve/reclamation area! I’ve been twice since moving to Toronto and have loved it both times. It’s great to pack a little picnic and have a hike in the city, or to buy a little snack from the cafe!

Two hours was $8 and full day was $10 for the parking we parked. Definitely dog friendly and family friendly park. Lots of open space for kids to run around, there was also an indoor skateboarding class for kids. For sure the kids will have a lo...
In summer, bring a sun hat and water for shaded trail sections. In winter, dress baby in layered mittens and use the outdoor rink’s heated lobby between skate sessions.
