Rose - Hotel Invisible (couple trip)

While the room was clean, hotel safety was nonexistent. I was provided with a unique code access to my room, however on two separate occasions the door to my room was unlocked from the outside by strangers. The hotel was immediately notified, but they failed to rectify the situation. I do not recommend this hotel for safety reasons.

I recently stayed at Hotel Rose in Quebec City, and my experience was extremely disappointing and frustrating. The hotel lacks an elevator, and the beds are elevated by two steps, creating a significant and dangerous hazard. Me and my family had a wonderful experience at the Rose hotel. Rooms are brand new, clean and well thought. We shared a room and the curtain between the beds are a nice addition. The hotel room was good, clean and compact. The air conditioner could not be switched off during my stay. The downside was the location - the hotel is next to a bar as mentioned by a reviewer which means that if you're a light sleeper, this may not be the best hotel for you.
