Hotel Champlain (solo trip)

Loved this place - absolute perfect place for the sights of Old Quebec. Friendly staff and lovely room. The only fault on arrival was children from the school behind throwing stones over the adjoining walls on to the hotel parking spaces. One lady was almost struck on head and stones were landing on the parked cars. Not great first impression.

My mom & stayed there for 3 nights. Such kind customer service. We loved our room, the way each bed was against its own wall. Very nice layout. Only suggestion would be a safety grip bar in the tub. I didn’t think of that when booking, especially where my mom seems so youthful to me, she is 81 yrs young. We enjoyed two mornings of the breakfast there. Highly recommend this hotel. It’s in a great location for easy walking around the main areas of interest. The room was clean and spacious and there’s a lift so minimal hassle with heavy bags. The bed and pillows were comfortable and there was no noise to disturb sleep. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Stayed there for vacation and loved it! Clean, large rooms. Very quiet. Excellent breakfast and we enjoyed the espresso machine and electronic wine bar. We had to park offsite because of our vehicle size, but it was a nice garage and close by. Great location for walking everywhere. Staff were all very friendly.
