What makes it 71% Kids-Friendly: Open grass and rail-fenced lookout let children picnic, run, and watch boats; yet there are no toilets, playgrounds, or shade, and parents must guard edges and steep stairs.
Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for with kids: Families can picnic, watch boats, and explore nearby paths without rushing.
Family picnic on the lawn:
Open grassy area overlooking the St. Lawrence River.
Tip: Bring a blanket, snacks, and water for a comfortable picnic spot.
Watch ferries and boats:
Observe river traffic and ferry arrivals from the terrace edge.
Tip: Check ferry schedules at Lévis marina to catch boats coming and going.
Riverside bike-and-play stop:
Flat bike path leads to the terrace with benches and open space.
Tip: Lock your bikes nearby and let kids run on the lawn before continuing.
Seasonal outdoor concerts:
Free family-friendly music events held on the terrace in summer.
Tip: Visit the Lévis tourism website in late spring for the current concert lineup.

The fireworks spectacle was truly amazing. The ground is well kept, clean and parking was not a problem.

A good place to look at Old Quebec from Levis. The sunset at this place really nice.

Great place to catch the sunset. A small trek up the hill, something you should be used to by now since Quebec City is all uphill walking
Martyn Z
Spectacular views of old Quebec and a nice place in its own right. Deep snow when we visited, so limited where you could get to without snowshoes
Jeff Carter
Great park, great views, even found a geocache or 2. Definitely worth the visit. Was here just at sunset for some stunning photos, then a quick walk down to the brewery before catching the ferry back to Quebec.
In summer, enjoy free outdoor concerts and pleasant weather. In fall, the foliage turns vibrant—bring jackets. In winter, paths can be icy—wear boots with good grip. In spring, watch for muddy sections after the thaw.
