A brilliant visit and tour that is well worth the taxi ride. Be sure to book in advance! Our very knowledgeable and witty guide Raphael kept us captivated for the whole tour (in English) and was detailed and patient with answering questions. This is a great adventure about a history that is little known to me as an Englishman. The gift shop is beautiful too and you will be compelled to contribute ...

A must do. A cultural experience quite unlike anything else I’ve ever seen before (I’m European so we don’t have native Americans there). Every staff member we met was very friendly and polite and knew so much about the Huron wendate. We had the nicest guide (a quite short lady with glasses) who had funny stories about life in the ancient tribes and explained everything very well. The site itself ...

The tour is well worth the ticket price. The guides are knowledgeable and passionate about the people and the story through history into the present.

Loved visiting this place in May of 2024. Learnt lots of information about the Huron people and their history. Everybody there is super friendly and nice. Definitely recommend the short drive over for anybody visiting Quebec City. The gift shop is great too!

Highly recommended visit. The guiding tour was very insightful sharing stories in the 1st person to help up understand better the story of this native community. You can’t go around the site on your own you need to join a tour. You finish at the boutique where they have plenty of home made souvenirs.
In summer, book the handicraft workshop early. In winter, check snow levels before reserving the snowshoe tour.
