Highly recommend. All the exhibits were so thoughtfully and well curated. The audio guided exhibit on an Rohingya immigrants story was particularly heartbreaking. They have a great interactive area for kids as well. Could easily spend a day here.

We didn’t know what to expect at the Museum of Civilization. The weather wasn’t the greatest so we decided to drop by for a bit to stay indoors. We were fairly surprised from all the exhibits and ended up staying there for a few hours. Amazing museum with lots of different areas covered at a very reasonable price. Would highly recommend if you are visiting Quebec. Great history on the First Nation / indigenous peoples of Quebec and well as some other fun exhibits. This is a great hybrid of a history museum and children's museum.

We went to see the Titanic exhibit, which was an incredible experience, hearing the human stories behind the sinking. Highly recommend the audio guide. But the highlight was the incredibly moving experience of Finding Refuge. A journey through the struggles of a refugee to Quebec City is an emotional roller coaster, well worth the time. The exhibition about crowds was also very entertaining

There was another exhibit on one of the refugees which was deeply moving & made me grateful and appreciative of what I have, which we forget at times. This is #1 museum...
Visit on weekday mornings year-round for smaller crowds. In winter, plan extra time for parkas at reception.
