What makes it 65% Baby-Friendly: Babies under two enter free on a lap and lifts reach all floors, yet strollers are banned inside the hall and no confirmed nursing or change tables may hinder very young families.
Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for with baby: Enough time to enjoy a show, explore the lobby art, and relax on the rooftop terrace without rushing with a baby.
Attend a family-friendly show:
Pick a performance marked “family audience” to enjoy age-appropriate entertainment.
Tip: Book 2 adult tickets online in advance; babies 2 and under sit free on laps.
Explore the lobby art walk:
Discover rotating contemporary works in the glass-filled foyer.
Tip: Arrive early to wander quietly before the show and let your baby look around safely.
Relax on the rooftop terrace:
Sip a mocktail or snack while you and your baby enjoy fresh air and city views.
Tip: Head there before sunset for golden-hour photos; fold stroller at coat check.

Le Diamant is the best theatre in Canada if not North America. The staff is kind and helpful, the shows are cutting edge art, the prices are reasonable and there is a wonderful hotel and restaurant linked to the theatre. The must see gem of North America.

Awesome venue, probably the best in the city. The bar, waiting room and washrooms and the top notch. The show room is super modern, I went there for a wrestling match and it was amazingly fun and high quality.

In summer, plan an early evening visit to catch warm sunset views from the terrace. In winter, bundle your baby in a warm carrier and call ahead to confirm terrace access if there’s heavy snow.
