What makes it 76% Kids-Friendly: Kids enjoy tide-pooling, lawn games and short level walks, but lack of playground, lifeguards, or swimming limits activity variety, so suitability is good but not perfect.
Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for with kids: Gives time for beach play, family walk, and picnic without tiring younger children.
Beach-edge exploration:
Explore the sandy riverbank at low tide. Kids can paddle in shallow water and hunt for stones.
Tip: Check the tide chart and bring towels, water shoes, and a change of clothes.
Picnic and lawn games:
Spread a blanket on the grassy area near the pavilion. Let kids run, fly a kite, or play catch.
Tip: Pack easy-to-serve snacks, a frisbee, and a small blanket for shade.
Short family trail walk:
Walk a 500–1 000 m section of the Sentier des Grèves on packed-earth paths.
Tip: Stick to the flat segment near the pavilion and use a lightweight stroller for toddlers.

Beautiful park with lots of trail options (length wise and sight wise). Enjoyed the shallow waters by the main building. Would highly recommend.

A very local park, has great trails along with the Saint Lawrence River. From the top the Strikes Trail(Le Sentier Des Grèves) you can see the beautiful two 🌉 .

Great little park tucked on the bank of the St. Lawrence waterway. Plenty of sandy beach where dogs are allowed, and a nice walkway that is level and well maintained. The bathrooms were clean, and so was the entire park. Fair amount of people and some dogs on a weekday fall morning, but plenty of parking.

Beautiful park with a nice walking path. If you continue to the cliffs, there are an incredible set of stairs that lead you to a quiet beach with lots of wildlife.
Summer: arrive early to secure parking. Fall: bring layers for cool river breezes. Winter: trails may be snow-covered and pavilion may close. Spring: expect muddy patches after thaw.
