What makes it 67% Kids-Friendly: Discount youth tickets and some child-oriented matinees exist, but shows run long, seating is fixed, and there is no play or workshop area to burn energy.
Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for with kids: Allows time to explore the foyer mural, attend a guided tour and catch a family-friendly show without rushing.
Admire the Foyer Mural:
Walk through the main foyer to see Jordi Bonet’s vibrant 22-metre mural.
Tip: Arrive early to let kids safely explore the open space before doors open.
Join a Guided Backstage Tour:
Discover backstage areas and learn about the theatre’s architecture and history.
Tip: Book online for CAD 5 per person and note that children under 5 can sit on laps free.
Catch a Midis-musique Concert:
Attend a free 30-minute classical concert at noon on select Wednesdays.
Tip: Check the theatre’s calendar and arrive 10 minutes early for best lobby spots.
See a Family-Friendly Show:
Buy youth tickets at CAD 30 and adult tickets from CAD 45 for select musical or variety performances.
Tip: Reserve front-row seats so kids get a clear view and shorter walks in the aisles.

Went to see Jesse Cook. All I can say is "Absolutely Amazing". The sound quality is crystal clear in this theater. We were seated on the 2nd level (mezzanine) centre isle. Incredible show. Will definitely see him and many others again in this theater. Enjoy!

Great place to go see a live play, symphony orchestra or even a stand up comedian. The place is very clean and modern. The seating arrangements are great and also very comfortable . Underground paid parking is available and paid street parking too. They also have a bar area in the lobby. Highly recommend. GOOD JOB!
