What makes it 74% Kids-Friendly: Open lawns, marsh wildlife spotting, and tower views interest children, but there is no playground and parents must supervise steep stairs, so fun is decent but not outstanding.
Why 2–3 hours visit duration is ideal for with kids: Allows time for the tower, boardwalk, picnic and art hunt without rushing younger children.
Riverside picnic and play:
Spread a blanket on the lawn next to picnic tables and let kids run on the grass.
Tip: Pack sandwiches, juice boxes and a blanket; choose a spot close to the pavilion for shade.
Climb the observation tower:
Ascend the 25 m metal tower for 360° views of the St. Lawrence and city skyline.
Tip: Only children over 1.2 m can climb safely; hold hands on the upper platform; check tower open hours.
Explore the wetland boardwalk:
Walk the 280 m wooden boardwalk through a reconstructed riverside marsh.
Tip: Bring binoculars for bird spotting; go early to see herons and blackbirds.
Art hunt at “Alas de México”:
Find and study the bronze angel-wing sculpture gifted by Mexico City.
Tip: Ask kids to count the feathers for a fun challenge and photo keepsake.

This is a perfect spot to unwind and soak in some beautiful scenery. The views of the water and bridge are stunning, making it an ideal place to take pictures. It's generally quiet and peaceful, perfect for a relaxing stroll or just sitting and watching the boats go by. There are a few benches where you can rest, and there are washroos. Also, this is a lovely stop for anyone looking to take a brea...

Beautiful view of River Saint Lawrence! Go to the top ! Excellent walk to do by yourself, couple, friend or family! No need to buy tickets. The picture were taken inside a boat. But I went there by swimming, and running. You can go by walking normally.
Observation tower closes in winter. Food trucks run mid-May to end-October. In cold months, bundle up and wear traction cleats on icy paths.
