What makes it 76% Baby-Friendly: Parents find stroller-friendly asphalt loops, benches every 200 m and a diaper-change table, but no nursing room, no stroller rental and some gravel slopes require extra gear and constant care.
Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for with baby: Enough time to stroll paved loops, visit the playground, picnic and take rest breaks with a baby.
Stroller-friendly loop:
Follow the asphalt Allée du Sieur-de-Coulonge and Allée Sir-Henry-Atkinson for an easy stroll.
Tip: Start at the old stables to use accessible restrooms and benches.
Playground visit:
Let your toddler enjoy swings and slides near the old stables.
Tip: Go early to avoid crowds and have shade from the nearby trees.
Picnic by the Interpretation Centre:
Use the nearby tables to keep your baby in sight while you relax.
Tip: Bring a portable high-chair insert and pack bottled water.
Interpretation Centre tour:
See the detailed model of the former governor’s residence inside the old boiler-house.
Tip: Open daily 8 h–21 h; combine with picnic to minimize extra walking.
Pond-side break:
Stop at the small entrance pond to watch ducks and calm water views.
Tip: Check pond renovation status before you go; some areas may be fenced off.

Awesome beautiful place to walk around..bring a lunch..sit and relax and spend time with family or loved ones. Good space for a run. A walk. We actually went to see these beautiful flowers and animal carvings and stuff..after walking around for awhile we asked a local..luckily spoke some English..they only had the animal carvings a couple years ago..not a constant thing..people who travel all over...

A beautiful little getaway in the heart of Québec city! This park has many amenities: parking, bathrooms, fountains, open spaces, lookouts, and historic buildings. I saw BBQs, but I don't know if they're permitted. A great place for friends and families to get together

This was the residence of the French and British Governors of Canada, now a government property. It had a spacious greenhouse and a bowling green that were demolished. This free park is accessible year round. It does not have public restrooms. It has a kid playground and picnic area. It is a dog-friendly park.

It is an amazing experience to see the animals curated out of trees, it requires lot of planning effort and patience. I definitely recommend young families to visit this place as kids love this place. Only downside is the parking which a bit far from the park itself but it worth the effort

That was one of the most beautiful and incredible experiences I've ever had! What incredible landscaping and art together! The perfection of each piece is rich in details! It's breathtaking! It's worth every minute spent in there! I highly recommend this place if you are around Quebec City!
