Travelodge by Wyndham Ottawa East (couple trip)

Don’t leave anything valuable in your room. Maids and hotel staff will ignore DND signs, violate your privacy and go in whenever they feel necessary. They don’t take proper care of our “ clean” towels or bedding: For each room they leave our towels on the hallway floor before placing them on the bathroom rack. Front desk staff were very friendly. Booked through Expedia. Rooms seemed clean, dont look closer. Hotel facility and rooms desperately need a renovation and upgrades. AC units almost falling out of the wall, paint etc chipping, who knows whats in the carpet and furniture etc. Slept in my car the rest of the night. Felt so gross. The hotel needs to be remodeled or at least to improve their maintenance. The rooms are not bad. They are clean and the beds are comfortable but the pool is not close to the pictures on the website. The customer service is definitely horrible!

This hotel has what you need. Very simple design and clean rooms. I can't complain of what I need for a place to stay for the night. Outside there's a local restaurant, a gas station, Wendy's across the street, and Tim Horton's in a short distance. Even a quick access to the highway. I wouldn't mind staying here for another night. The price is very reasonable.

Rooms are big and tidy. There is 4 pillows on the bed and they are all super comfortable. They have tubs instead of shower stalls which makes it good for young kids and they have a pool.
