TownePlace Suites Ottawa Kanata (solo trip)

Excellent room, service was great. Check in was extremely quick, keys in hand in moments. Quite nice hotel. Location is a bit out of the way, we were going sticking to the plaza for this trip. For that purpose it's a perfect place.

Location is convenient. Beds were not comfortable and were quite soft. Front desk staff not typically at the desk- you’ll have to wait a bit for them to notice you waiting to have them come out from the back room. Typical breakfast selection for this type of hotel. There is no waffle maker

All dogs may go to heaven, but they have a pit stop here. This place is more like a boarding facility for your precious pets. You hear dogs barking at all hours inside your room. The FREE weekend breakfast is exactly worth the price. Wonder what the work week offers?

Spent 6 nights in an accessible suite while we helped our daughter re- locate to Kanata and we were most impressed! Room was well- equiped and sparkling clean; all staff we encountered were pleasant, friendly, and efficient. Breakfast lady was so helpful, especially since I was ambulating with a walker. Pool sparkling clean and accessible. Will definitely stay here again!

The rooms need some maintenance; time missing in the bathroom, wheel missing from the rolling computer table, bent wall sconce, and the bathroom air vent looks like it needed some work. One one the four electric vehicle charges was not working. We were able to charge successfully with the other three chargers, although the chargers are slower than my home charger.
