Ottawa Embassy Hotel & Suites (couple trip)

Very nice close to downtown with parking available. Caring staff who go above and beyond. You feel like they're welcoming you to their home - management must be good! Personally I don't like so much carpet but otherwise the room was nice, big and clean.

I stayed here for four nights with my wife and kids. My experience was somewhat mixed. The room itself had everything on paper, but in reality it wasn't great. The highlights were a spacious living room, a separate bedroom with 2 queen beds and a kitchenette. That said, the room layouts and furnishings were not ideal. Cancelled our reservation on the day of our arrival to Ottawa which we booked 4 nights with them!! Incredible. My mother booked on behalf of myself staying and they cancelled on me instead of honouring the reservation (they had all the credit card details they needed to charge). Awful customer service, has us scrambling for another hotel room.

Spacious rooms with amazing service. A best place to stay, may it be a short trip for a weekend or a long stay!! I had a very convenient stay with my family. The staff here are very accommodating and welcoming. Thank you to the whole management. Will be back soon.

Really enjoyed my stay at 25 Cartier Embassy Hotel. The location is perfect—super quiet and right by the canal, but still close to everything downtown. The building has character and the room felt more like a mini apartment than a hotel room, with a full kitchen and big windows. It was clean, comfortable, and peaceful. Would definitely come back!
