Homewood Suites by Hilton Ottawa Downtown (couple trip)

This downtown Ottawa hotel is in a great location near lots of nearby small restaurants and bars and within walking distance to the Supreme Court, Parliament building and Ottawa canal. Rooms at the hotel were roomy and clean. The complimentary breakfast was ok but food at the hotel was very good quality. A nice bar in the lobby and friendly staff.

The location of this hotel was okay and the staff were very nice and welcoming. However, the breakfast was a bit disappointing — in my opinion, it’s worth about $10–$15 at most, not more than that. Highly recommend, especially if you need an accessible room. If you are a wheelchair user, the accessible suites are great - GIANT bathroom, lots of room to move around, lowered kitchen sink you can roll under etc. Every staff member I spoke with was super helpful. The hotel is nicely renovated and the room was looking very good. However the room was poorly stocked with kitchen supplies (not enough dishes/cutlery, no dish sponge). The breakfast was good, however due to the hotel size the breakfast experience was very poor. The location is also great with lots of amenities. The pool was amazing! The staff was very professional and courteous!
