Holiday Inn Gatineau – Ottawa (couple trip)

The front desk staff, and especially manager Camille, need some hospitality training and a big dose of vitamin D. They don't have to smile, but respect would be nice. Not a good experience. Some of the staff is very rude. My husband just requested front desk to get our room cleaned as we are leaving. We were informed in a very rude tone that it will be cleaned and it doesn’t really matter if we are in the room or outside. This could have communicated in a courteous manner. Beautiful and CLEAN hotel! The rooms are large and comfortable. The beds were firm without being uncomfortably firm. We actually checked out of another hotel in Gatineau because it was so terrible and this one was a lovely surprise. The service is fine but we didn’t interact with many of them.
