Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Ottawa West (with kids)

The bed is okay but there is no door for the washroom. A simple sliding thing with big opening where you can see anyone inside the washroom. A rude receptionist who will keep saying ‘we cant do anything. Stay or leave’ added to the misery. Rooms not ready even while checking at 5:30pm. Stay away if you like peace!

Got in at midnight. The receptionist was super welcoming and respectful. Rooms are cozy and contains all possible amenities - microwave, fridge, safe, laundry room, pool etc. Free breakfast and internet.

I booked a 1 week stay with my family ( 2 adults, 2 children, and 1 dog) and in sum this hotel overpromised and underdelivered. This hotel has a "security" camera directly over the pin pad for processing credit cards. With an other camera placed on the side. I was careful to protect my pin. But it was no match for 2 perfectly placed cameras. The following day after our stay, we got a notification from visa with a fraudulent charge that didn't belong to us.
