Nice rooms. Bathrooms look very recent. Quiet. I had a package I needed to get for my business trip and they agreed to let it be delivered to the front desk. Very central. Right in front of Rideau center and a block away from Rogers centre. 10 minutes walk to Parliament. Overall great value and friendly staff.

We had a good stay overall. Staff were generally friendly, especially the restaurant team. Breakfast was fresh and tasty—we got it for free, so can’t speak to the value, but it was definitely enjoyable. Our suite was spacious and relatively clean, though we did find some hair on a few towels, which was off-putting. Housekeeping was fast—they cleaned the room within an hour while we had breakfast....

My husband and I were so excited to spend our 2yrs married, 10yrs together anniversary at DoubleTree... 3 weeks prior to our stay we called to let them know it was our anniversary and requested an early check in, however they couldn't guarantee the early check in so we showed up at 2:50pm (check in was at 3) our suite still was not ready, the man told us to wait 5-10 minutes... this turned into 30...

Fantastic location in downtown Ottawa; easy to access from the O-train. Staff was extremely nice; Linda from the front desk upgraded our room for us because we were staying for our anniversary, and sent a lovely gift to us too. The breakfast buffet was perfect. We will be back in the fall! Highly recommended!
