Courtyard Ottawa Downtown (couple trip)

Great spot with food all around you. However, very loud at night with all the bars so be aware of that. Also, our room door has about a half inch gap so everything in the hall was very loud as well. Fire code hazard? Staff was friendly. Room was a nice size, but mold on the shower floor and grout on the shower walls. A typical bland corporate hotel. Location is amazing and parking is good. Kids enjoyed the indoor pool. We had to switch rooms as the bathroom wasn't accommodating. my Wife forgot her electric toothbrush when switching rooms. Despite contacting the service and her going back to check herself, the cleaning staff had already walked away with it and didn't return it.

Overall a solid stay! The room was clean and had everything I needed, though the mattress was a bit too soft for me, and the air-conditioning was noisy at night. The location is great—just a 10-minute walk to Parliament Hill, with tons of bars, restaurants, and food options around. The area gets really lively in the evenings, with street music and packed patios.

There was just a small hole (?) by the shower valve or controller. Otherwise, the room was spacious enough for one or two people. It was clean and well organized. Such a great experience staying here. The rooms were excellent. All the facilities were updated and the staff was amazing. The cherry on top was the woman at the front desk! We rolled in to town late and had been to 3 other hotels which were fully booked. The desk staff was rude about it too. When we arrived here the woman at the desk was cheerful and professional.
