Comfort Inn West (couple trip)

Stay away There were parking issues - no spots available and security instructed me to park in a snow bank beside a fire hydrant and when I said no had me park in a spot reserved for another room. Room not clean - sink didn't drain well, no shampoo in the shower, poor water pressure in shower, sequins on the bed. Rooms need a deep clean. Noisy heating unit -woke me up every time it turned on. We were in Ottawa to tour the university. I have no complaints about the hotel or the service. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The one thing I would recommend is that they fix the parking lot lighting at the front left corner of the building. Perhaps this has been done now, it just made the area dark and feel a little less secure at night.

I usually don’t leave reviews for hotels, but this one deserves it. For a cheaper price, you can find much cleaner and better options in downtown. I really wish I had booked there instead.
