Auberge de la Gare (solo trip)

Good hotel with clean rooms and basic breakfast included. The only good option on that street. The other hotel down the street is a nightmare so only stay at this one.

rooms, attention to cleanliness, great, but breakfast is always the same, powdered omelette, sausages and toast without cheese and cold meats.

Bad experience. No air conditioning, fan was problematic. TV wasn’t working and I was promised a refund, Never received. Difficult place.

The room had a weird smell. The door was broken so it was hard to open. A child or old lady would have gotten stuck inside the room. They charged my credit card a few days later for a bathroom towel. I explained I have my own nice towels at home why would I take a scratchy hotel towel. They promised to reimburse me but never did. I guess it's a way for them to get a little more income.

Had a great stay there with my son. Overall, everything met our expectations. Want to give a special shout-out to front desk person Aziz. Aziz made sure that all our requests were met with a smile, and his recommendations were top-notch too!!! Thank you, Aziz, for the excellent client experience you gave us during our stay. Thank you.
