What makes it 71% Kids-Friendly: Kids under 12 are welcome with cheaper tickets and adjustable scare level, yet the dark 75-min walk lacks toilets or rest breaks and may overtire or spook younger children.
Why 1-2 hours visit duration is ideal for with kids: The 75-minute guided walk covers key haunted sites without tiring younger children.

First time taking the Original Haunted Walk tour. It did not disappoint. Monica was a fantastic guide! Great storyteller, perfect pace, and projected their voice so that the whole group could hear. Loved learning more about the city I now call home, some of it quite spine tingling! Looking forward to doing more of the tours and site events in the future.

I must say that I really loved the Secrets of the Chateau Laurier Tour! The wonderful guide was very entertaining and knowledgeable and took her time to ensure my 80 year-old father could navigate the hotel comfortably. Highly recommended and keep an eye out for the hotel's resident dog! :)

I took the Original Ghost Walk of Ottawa, and I enjoyed it. It's definitely a bit of a hike, but our guide Darcy/Darcie (?) made the experience very enjoyable. She made sure we had time to take photos, ask questions, and gave everyone time to catch up if needed. Would definitely recommend (though creepier in the night!!)
In winter wear warm coats, hats, gloves and sturdy boots. In rain bring waterproof jackets and shoes with good grip.
