Upper Whirlpool Trail is a beautiful place to enjoy nature and take in the natural resources of the area. The trail offers stunning views, peaceful surroundings, and a perfect environment for hiking, relaxing, or just connecting with the outdoors. Highly recommended for nature lovers and those looking to unwind in a scenic setting.

One of the best trails near Toronto. Amazing views of the huge rocks and the Niagara River. The part from the parking lot to the whirlpool River is moderate difficulty but then the part from the whirlpool beach to the Niagara Glen trails is difficult with very narrow sections between the rocks but it is very rewarding.

It took 40mins to go down and come up. We didn't stayed for for long. It's a nice view and we experienced some deer as well small Easter milk snake. The water smell though I dont know why. But other then that the trail was fun. The parking is little expensive though $8/hour. So we parked little further where is no pay. They have nice wooden stair to go down and come up.

All of them gave...

Not a hard hike, just a bunch of steps and a little mud- definitely take good shoes! The trail I took went north along the whirlpool, crossing rocks with water falling over. Overall, many great views and a decent/short exercise. Highly recommend.... took me about an hou...
Winter trails can ice over—use crampons. Spring brings muddy sections—wear waterproof boots. Summer heats up and bugs appear—start early and apply repellent. Fall offers vibrant foliage but shorter daylight hours.
