What makes it 74% Solo-Friendly: A solo visitor can lap-swim, skate, read in the on-site library, or work out for a small fee; the area feels safe, yet it lacks iconic views or nightlife many solo tourists want.
Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for solo trip: Allows time for skatepark, a library visit, and a swim or coffee break.
Skatepark Session:

Always a ton of fun. A splash pad, swings including a pilot seat swing, a smaller playground for toddlers, a mid sized one for "5-12" and an adult exercise section as well to get in a decent workout. Shaded picnic benches to eat, washrooms, decent parking. I also saw a gorgeous blue jay! There isn't really anything to complain about!

What a lovely park. I wanted to find somewhere close to our hotel to take my 7 year old to play. This park is in great condition with lots of fun slides and swings and things to climb on. There’s even a splash pad there. We love this park. Also has a public bathroom!
