What makes it 61% Baby-Friendly: Stroller-friendly gardens suit a baby walk, but the tower stairs are unusable with infants, change tables and nursing areas are unconfirmed, so parents must bring all supplies.
Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for with baby: This allows a relaxed stroller walk, a picnic break under the trees, and a self-guided history stroll without rushing.
Stroller-friendly monument walk:
Follow the paved path around Brock’s Monument and formal gardens.
Tip: Bring a stroller with sturdy wheels to handle slight pavement cracks.
Shaded picnic under mature trees:
Set up on lawns or at picnic tables near the formal gardens.
Tip: Pack a blanket and a portable changing mat for quick feedings or diaper changes.
Self-guided history walk:
Read interpretive panels on the Battle of Queenston Heights at your own pace.
Tip: Download or screenshot map from Parks Canada beforehand to avoid extra stops.

I'm giving the park 5 stars as it is such a beautiful park - the monuments, the view and pathways. The Brock monument is currently has a renovation underway but still visible. One of my favorite sites to visit in Niagara. Dedicated to the Savior of Canada, it offers beautiful parks and sites. It's a shame nowadays you can't go up the monument anymore.

Worth the visit, it's so tall and well built. Useful history on Brock and the area. Beautiful vista of the Niagara River & beyond. Plenty of areas to sit and relax in nature

Visit Sunday April 27, 2025. Have visited several times prior including the stairs to the top of the monument. Lovely historical park and well maintained. Great for picnic, play time at the playground, nice stroll. Ample paid parking.

This is a nice little park with a great view overlooking the Niagara river. Huge park with lots of picnic and family area. The walking trail is decent too with plenty of parking. We stopped by here on the way to some wineries and its a perfect little spot to relax, picnic and chill with family for a bit.
Summer brings flower blooms and insects—use sunscreen and repellent. Fall offers crisp air and colorful leaves. Winter paths can be icy—dress in layers and use an all-terrain stroller. Spring rains may make ground soft—pack a waterproof cover.
