Samesun Montreal Hotel & Hostel (solo trip)

One of the top hostels I have ever stayed, the bed is big and comfortable with all kinds of charging right beside the bed, and lighting. The staff was very nice and helpful, the breakfast was great. Had such a good sleep and rest here.

This place is awesome! Clean, well kept and the beds are super comfortable. They make muffins at night so every time you come back to the hostel is smells like fresh baked muffins! They have complementy breakfast and there is a full bar that stays open late. The bar and lounge are super cozey and great for the northern climate.

I spent a few days at the hostel on holiday and it was an overall positive experience. No bed bugs sign, which I would consider the most relevant pro. The place is close to the Berry Metro station, and thus well connected around the city. Common areas a bit small, but friendly staff and good breakfast included in the stay. I came into the city for a meeting so I was looking for a fairly priced, clean, cozy, safe, and close enough stay to my main destination. The deal price was fair as it was a very short distance from the bus stop that goes straight to/from the airport plus it's rather centrally located to the many events downtown. Wow I just loved this place and it really made me appreciate hostel culture for its community. I was able to come in late and the check-in process was extremely easy. There is a communal kitchen and lounge area, but I lucked out and got a suite that had a jacuzzi and small sitting area as a desk. It was a great comfortable place to hang my head for a few nights.
