Montreal Convention Centre (solo trip)

Love this place, Especially during conventions like Otakuthon, because of how big it is, very pretty and clean too, easy to get there by Metro, close to many others place, but wish there was more air conditionner during a conventions in summer, i end up so sweaty and dizzy due of the amount of people and it get so hot

This is a convention center in downtown Montreal, next to Westin and Intercontinental hotels. However, it is accessible by Metro train. So, if you are attending a conference here on a budget, it makes sense to stay a bit farther and commute via the metro rail.

The Grand Palais Convention Center is very well located, with a subway station right on the premises, making it incredibly convenient to get to. Both security and cleanliness were impeccable, and the venue itself was very well-organized, with clear signage throughout the building. Visited the Montreal RV Show at this venue. Everything was fantastic! From parking, to signage, to plenty of service staff, and plenty of bathrooms it was all there. We spent 9 hours at the show to complete all the kiosks. It’s a large place! And plenty of great restaurants within walking distance. I will definitely go back to another show here!
