We have been coming to 514 for more than 3 decades and somehow have missed visiting this garden all these years. On a recent trip to 514, with overseas visitors we finally made a point to visit. Now we regret of missing it all these years. The park is a must stop for all visitors to 514. It’s beautiful and very well maintained. Very nice garden! Was a little disappointed by the Japanese garden, really expected it to be a bit bigger and more ornate. Was a huge fan of the Chinese garden as well as the collections of both medicinal and toxic plants. Super interesting to consider the properties different plants have! Also thought the interactive activities were so nice!

Amazing and such a well planned garden. We spent more than 4hrs here and still did not cover the entire ground. Plenty of shade to avoid the summer heat but both the Chinese and Japanese Gardens are one of the best we have experienced!

Great experience. The biodiversity center was quite informative while the other outdoor areas were relaxing walking areas. I definitely recommend spending a good couple hours there to explore everything, or maybe spreading it out over a few days.
May–September brings peak blooms in the rose and rock gardens. Late September–November hosts the Gardens of Light lantern festival across Chinese and Japanese gardens.
