Sandman Hotel Calgary Airport (solo trip)

Suitable airport accommodation with complimentary shuttle service. Nice to have 2 restaurants on site which were high standards and modern. Guest room hallways need a refresh. Overall good place to stay and we’d be back.

Beautifully landscaped, friendly staff, easy access for a newcomer like myself to get to the essential stores I needed without having to figure out calgary roads. My room was very clean, very bright and the front desk was more than accommodating. Thank you sandman calgary airport for my lovely stay. Be back soon! 😘

Good airport hotel with easy access to highways. Check in and out service was friendly and efficient. Coffee in the morning at reception was tasty too. Rooms were nice, but not the cleanest unfortunately. Nothing majorly unclean, just a bit of a build up over time.

Mattress were a bit soft for my liking and are starting to show their age. As well the faucet system for the shower seems to be some sort of alien technology! Nearly took some flesh off when it went super hot at one point. Nice room I had but it does have a few quirks as does the layout of the hotel.

Shuttle service is a little bit of a wait from the airport (an hour at times). That part is annoying. Two restaurants within walking distance is good but there’s not much else around this property. Rooms were clean and spacious. I enjoyed having pillow options. All around this is a good clean hotel.
