Hilton Garden Inn Calgary Downtown (couple trip)

Good size rooms. Service is very good. The complimentary breakfast is fine and unlimited. The restaurant served a decent evening meal too. Very helpful and knowledgeable front desk. Not much wardrobe space, no draws for underwear etc, and no safe, which was a concern. All in all though, a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Booking.com deleted my review. I think this was because I was honest about the issues this hotel faces. I traveled to Calgary all the way from Australia. I can honestly say I have never felt so unwelcome or frighted for my safety until I stayed at this hotel. Convenient location with access to popular attractions and public transit, but the area can be a bit rough. However, inside the hotel, you feel safely tucked away from all of that. Had a lovely stay with friendly and efficient service. We enjoyed the comfort of our room, as well as room service. Wish their bar stayed open later into the night.

The Hotel is modern, comfortable, and has all the amenities to make your stay relaxing. The lounge and restaurant serve great food and drink. Total dump. My flight was very canceled and I couldn’t use the first night of my reservation. I contacted hotel to let them know my flight was canceled and reached out to see if there was anything they could do. I provided multiple options of solutions that would be amenable to me.
