Best Western Premier Freeport Inn Calgary Airport (with kids)

Room was ok, but the Indian receptionist/manager was absolutely rude. We asked to change our room from one king bed to two double beds and were asked by that guy to contact the third party to make the change. It's a bit out of the way, as far as restaurants are concerned. You have to drive at least 10 minutes and there's not much closer than that besides a Wendy's and an A&W. The hotel is nice. The pool with a slide was a big hit with the kids. The rooms are very nice, with a mini fridge, microwave, and a bar sink, which was very nice to have.

This hotel sucks. The carpet in our room was still dirty. We called ahead with an inquiry and the person who answered was not knowledgeable at all. The person who checked us in was lovely, though. Very little amenities. It's close to the airport but almost kind of industrial. There are definitely better hotels in the area and would not choose this one again.

Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. Upon arrival the room was unsatisfactory with stained pillow cases and a dirty toilet bowl. Went to address this the next morning and the management was very helpful in offering us a late checkout and another clean of the room. We always stay at this hotel when flying out of Calgary. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and have everything that we need. The restaurant and lounge always have the friendliest staff! We also like that we have the option of leaving our vehicle at the hotel while we are away and that it is quite affordable. The airport shuttle is also very much appreciated.
