Aloft Calgary University (solo trip)

Great spot for a stay in Calgary. Gemma at check in went above and beyond and was one of the most friendly and genuine check in's I've had at a Marriott property. Her colleague Harshita was lovely as well. I happened to check in during happy hour and Anoosha at the bar took great care of me too. Very clean and modern property with fantastic customer service! Highly recommend!

We were in r room for about 30 minutes and saw 7 bugs including one in my bed. Similarly in my sisters room they witnessed another 3 bugs including another one in their bed. We were in the rooms right next to the pool on the first floor for reference. Every time we would get rid of a bug another one seemed to spawn in. Very good experience. The front desk service is exceptional. The room is clean and comfy. The breakfast is decent. All the staff we met are very helpful and kind. Will be the first to consider if we visit in the future.

A hotel more interested in maximizing revenue than catering to guest experiences. For a long weekend tournament we stayed at this Marriott property that boasted a variety of amenities.
