It is always architecturally interesting to blend old buildings with newer glass skyscrapers and add a touch of originality with these metal structures. It sure is nice to look at it. Though, in 2014, there were too many homeless people and visibly ones with mental health/drug issues, just like in Edmonton tbh. It means constantly having to pay attention instead of focusing on what you came for.

Really nice walk on this street while restaurants around. In the evening with lights and other stuff it gives undoubtedly mesmerizing look. This is a wonderful walking street right in the heart of downtown Calgary. There are so many restaurants, coffee shops, and bars to choose from, many of them are good! It's very safe, a lot of police presence and very popular. Great thing to experience in Calgary!

I really enjoyed spending an afternoon on Stephen Avenue — it’s the perfect mix of Calgary’s history and lively urban vibe.
