The park is very large, provides a perfect opportunity to witness the beautiful foliage, if you go in the autumn. In addition to the walking paths and the bike route circling the park by the sea, the scenery is self-evident. If you have the time, I highly recommend coming here for a half-day stroll and taking in the beauty of Vancouver. This time, I rented a bike to go around the park, and the oce...

Great park in the heart of Calgary very scenic and calm. On weekend there can be a lot of people and hard to find parking but otherwise there is lots of free parking. There is a river which can be used like lazy river and a great spot for kids to get in water as its shallow and the playground is in front of it which has all that kids will need. There is a baseball court, tennis court, swimming poo...

This is a beautiful park along the elbow river. It has an outdoor pool in the summer months. The parking is free but can get a little diffucult to find. There are amazing flower gardens and sometimes an ice cream truck in the parking lot. Many people come here to picnic in the park or go for a leisurely tube ride in the river.

When is the best time to visit Stanley Park (Calgary, Canada)?

In summer, bring sunhat and swim diapers for wading pool fun. In spring/fall, dress in layers and pack a windbreaker for breezy riverbank walks. In winter, skip water activities and enjoy stroller loops on cleared paths; watch for ice patches.
