Shane Homes YMCA at Rocky Ridge (with kids)

Nice and big facility, weekend afternoon not a lot of rush. The equipment's are really modern, not much staff cleaning the machines compared to other locations. The gym times for drop in basketball is nice as well with 3 hoops in a single court so it's a lot more open. The lockers are really nice and a lot of them as well.

Last Sunday I took my daughter to Shane Homes YMCA to spend some time together in the pool. When we got there, we saw a sign at the cashier: Hot Tub is closed. My daughter is not interested in the hot tub, so we didn’t get bothered by it. As we changed and arrived at the pool deck, we realized that the wave pool was closed for private lessons. There are trails in front and behind YMCA. There’s lots of parking spots too. Outside of YMCA there’s a basket ball court, and skate park. These are good of young and older kids. There’s benches seen along the trails. We were able to do roller blades on these trails and they weren’t too busy. The art (flock of birds) is just amazing.

The location is amazing—the views are beautiful and the road leading to it makes the visit feel special. The front desk staff were fantastic, definitely 5-star service! However, the restroom had no toilet paper and the shower had no shampoo, which was disappointing. With small improvements in amenities, this place could easily be a top choice.

Very aesthetically pleasing facility with a great amount of amenities located inside. The aquatic area of the facility is massive and is good for swimmers and children. The facility has a massive gym area with various types of equipments. Totally recommend this facility.
