What makes it 71% Baby-Friendly: Paved paths allow strollers and there are free toilets, yet no listed nursing rooms or infant change tables and ponds pose drowning risks, so visits suit short daylight strolls only.
Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for with baby: Allows a stroller walk on paved trails, wildlife stops, and a riverside picnic without rushing.
Stroller-Friendly Wetland Walk:
Follow the paved pathways through the reconstructed wetlands beside the Bow River.
Tip: Use a stroller with sturdy wheels; benches appear every 200 m for quick breaks.
River-View Picnic:
Set up at one of the picnic tables overlooking the river bend or on shaded grass spots.
Tip: Reserve a table online to secure a spot on weekends or bring a blanket for extra comfort.
Marsh Wildlife Viewing:
Sit on interpretive trail benches to watch ducks, herons and songbirds up close.
Tip: Pack a small blanket for baby and a pair of binoculars to point out birds.

Situated adjacent the Bow river where one can swim or go kayaking and boating, weather permitting, of course. Beautiful walking paths and off path walking. Dogs are permitted on leash. There is a good children's playground. Plenty of picnic tables, and of course there are facilities.

A couple of minutes walk to Bow Habitat Station and wetland Interpretative Centre and less than five minutes walk to Harvie’s Passage for swimming, ...

Great place to hang out or BBQ. You can bring your bike and enjoy the long cycling track along the bow river or bring your boat for some fun in the water.

This park is so beautiful all year round! They have some picnic tables each one with it's own grill they have a number were you can call and reserve a table for a specific day and hours and I think there is a small fee. I love this park because it has a decent size parking lot and the park is big enough to keep a safe distant from everybody else. There are paved paths so you can ride your bike too...
Washrooms and changerooms open late May–early October. In winter, trails can be icy—bring snow boots and warm layers.
