Devonian Gardens (couple trip)

Beautiful place to spend time. Whenever I come to shop at Simon's, I always stop in the gardens. The koi fish pond was closed due to renovations (sad) but they have updated it so much! A great little indoor oasis, good for an especially hot or rainy day. Sadly when we visited the koi pond was closed for renovations, but all of the beautiful plants and flowers and water features were enjoyable. Grab some grub at the food court nearby and soak in the ambience of the greenery.

A really relaxing setting, I love it! Great to sit solo or with someone and catch up! I grabbed some food and a brew from the food court to the right of the gardens and then found a table within the gardens to eat and relax. The gardens are made up of water features, plants and usually fish in the deeper ponds too, however none this time. There is renovation work going on and has been for years on...

Okay, this is not an extensive Botanical Garden, but it's still a lovely place, in the middle of a shopping center. They have a nice selection of different plants. Love the different textures and blooms. Signage is available to let you know what you are looking at. Some excellent spots for taking photos or selfies. A beautiful, peaceful spot in the heart of downtown ,perfect for lunch breaks or a quiet escape, especially on cold days.
