5-Star Review for Chinese Culture Center This center is fantastic! The Temple of Heaven-style design is stunning, and the free kids’ dragon dance practice every Sunday is a total highlight—kids love it, and it’s a great way to learn culture. Highly recommend for anyone who loves beautiful spaces or wants to share Chinese culture with kids!

HONG KONG STYLE STAMPEDE BREAKFAST The Stampede's free Chinese-style breakfast, served from 10 am to noon, is advertised with limited servings, but the exact number is not specified. Upon arrival at 10 am, I was met with an incredibly long line. I was informed that joining the line didn't guarantee breakfast, as only 500 dishes were available. After waiting for 45 minutes, I had barely moved and ...

Absolutely great place to discover - amazing decoration, atmosphere at the center itself. There is museum at the basement. Just enter it from the stairs in the hall. Not big, but has a lot of treasures to discover, history to see, impressions to get. Free entrance, no ticket is needed (just if you are the group and want to have a guided tour, then better to contact them in advance).

When is the best time to visit Calgary Chinese Cultural Centre (Calgary, Canada)?

Visit during Spring Fest in March for a kids’ zone, free popcorn, and cultural crafts. In late January/early February, enjoy free Chinese New Year dragon and lion dances. In September, the Mid-Autumn Lantern Festival lights up the hall with glowing lantern displays.
