Hotel la Grande Cloche (solo trip)

Great location, AC isn’t room specific so if someone wants heat, you don’t get cooling. This forced us to open the window, which was to a back fire escape. Problem there is people smoke in this stairwell and it smokes you out of your room. Called the front desk twice about this issue. I had a single shoebox room for 1 night. Room 10. Perfectly adequate for that. The bed was super comfy and the place exceptionally clean. Flooring was a little loose and felt it a bit cold at night however the bedding made it feel warm. The staff were friendly and even let me know the room was ready before the 3pm check-in. I would come back and stay again as very central for Brussels.

Stopped for a couple of nights. Room 36. Elevator available. Check in was easy. Nice lady. Room was very nice and clean. Lots of windows. Air co sitting worked well.
