What makes it 77% Baby-Friendly: Wide paved plateaus, shaded lawns and a fenced baby zone suit strollers and crawlers, yet hills limit some routes and toilets lack listed changing tables, so bring a mat and ask staff.
Why 2–3 hours visit duration is ideal for with baby: Allows time for stroller-friendly walks, playground breaks, and a relaxed picnic with the baby.
Stroller-friendly plateau paths:
Wide paved walks at the park’s top and bottom plateaus are smooth for buggies.
Tip: Enter via the main gate and follow the paved plateaus to avoid steep hills.
Baby-zone playground:
Fenced area with rubber flooring and small slides made for ages 0–2.
Tip: Bring a few small toys and use nearby benches to supervise comfortably.
Shaded picnic on the lawns:
Spacious grassy spots under mature beech trees near the Louis XV pavilion.
Tip: Lay out a blanket in the northern grove for quiet shade and easy pavilion access.
Pondside duck watching:
Benches by the small pond offer calm views and a chance to spot ducks.
Tip: Check park signs about feeding rules and keep a safe distance from the water's edge.

Very beautiful and large park for all ages kids starting from toddler till teenagers. Kids playing area is simply awesome. If you are staying in south Brussels city area specially near by Uccle area then this is perfect place for your kids. We go very often and spend lot of time here along with my kids. Very easy accessible by bus or tram
Spring and summer bring full shade under the beech groves. In autumn, fallen leaves can be slippery—stick to paved paths. Winter paths may be muddy; dress the baby in warm, waterproof layers.
