What makes it 68% Kids-Friendly: Children under 12 may enjoy the interactive games at Experience Europe, yet the main Visitors’ Centre bans anyone under 15 and there are no play corners, so parents must manage attention spans themselves.
Why 1-2 hours visit duration is ideal for with kids: Enough time to explore interactive exhibits and VR stations without tiring kids.
Play Europe quiz games:
Try bite-sized quizzes that explain EU topics in a fun way.
Tip: Let younger children choose easy levels first and help them with reading.
VR meet-the-President booth:
Step into a virtual environment to “meet” the Commission President.
Tip: Go early to skip any line and take turns so kids stay engaged.
Virtual tour of the Berlaymont building:
Explore the Commission's glass headquarters through immersive VR.
Tip: Explain what they see to connect the experience to your visit.
Smile Europe photo booth:
Take a souvenir photo with EU-themed frames and props.
Tip: Download the free digital copy via email instead of printing on site.

Visited during the OPEN Days 2019. Amazing place. You can access the actual places where politicians convene. Welcoming atmosphere.
Exhibition is indoors, ideal on rainy or cold days. Centre closes on EU public holidays (e.g. Aug 15, Dec 25). Visit weekday mornings in spring or fall to avoid school-holiday crowds.
