What makes it 62% Kids-Friendly: The venue runs KETCLUB and percussion shows tailored to 6-12s and free outdoor festivals, yet most concerts are very loud, require tickets for each child, and offer no play areas, so caution and ear protection are vital.
Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for with kids: Time for a short concert, a café break, and visiting a festival stage without rushing young children.
AB Café Family Break:
Enjoy a relaxed drink at AB Café before the show.
Tip: Kids can choose soft drinks; order Haacht beers for adults and sit at a table near the bar.
KETCLUB Family Concert:
Attend a kid-friendly rock or hip-hop show with lower volume.
Tip: Book online early; each parent ticket admits up to two children under 12 free.
Feeërieën Light & Music Festival:
Watch free light installations and live music in Brussels Park.
Tip: Bring a blanket and arrive by 20:00 to find space near the installations.
Vlaanderen Feest Dance Battles:
Catch free hip-hop and krump dance battles on Flemish Holiday.
Tip: Arrive by 16:00 for front-row spots; bring ear protection for younger kids.

Staff friendly and cheerful. Amazing venue for the common thread tour, lockers a little expensive but well worth the cost to be able to store things and not worry. Would happily return again for another event

Best venue in Brussels, amazing sound and artists. Not so good when you're less than 1m80. When sold-out (all the time then), it is densely packed with tall Flemish people and have you be in the first rows or in the upper seats to see anything. The stage might not be high enough.

Nice concert hall (ballroom) but be aware there are no seats! This night was Ziggy Alberts and Hein Cooper, 2 Australian musicians.

We traveled all the way from Krefeld to Brussels to see Pink Martini at Ancienne Belgique – unfortunately, we were deeply disappointed. Upon arrival at 6 PM, a young staff member told us in a rude and disinterested manner that doors wouldn’t open until 7 PM. While the timing itself was fine, his tone and attitude were completely inappropriate. Once doors opened, the crowd rushed toward the few av...

Great concert hall, always hosting hand picked musicians. The last one I have listened to here was Bear McCreary, and the atmosphere helped a lot for having an awesome experience with proper music immersion.
In July, join the free dance battles in the Main Hall. In late August, explore Feeërieën behind AB. Summer evenings are mild—pack a light jacket.
